8 North regards equal access to its website and services as a basic right. We invest ongoing effort to make 8north.com accessible and comfortable to use for the widest possible audience, including people who use assistive technologies.

Making the site accessible is an ongoing process. We continue to improve it over time as standards, technologies and our content evolve.

We aim to conform to the following recognized accessibility standards:

• WCAG 2.1, Level AA: the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C.
• Israeli Standard IS 5568: the Israeli web accessibility standard, based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA, as required under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for a Service) Regulations, 5773-2013.
• United States: the principles of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which courts have widely applied to websites using WCAG as a reference.

Measures taken to make the site accessible include:

• Text alternatives for meaningful images, and labels for form fields.
• Colour combinations chosen with contrast in mind for readability.
• Support for users who prefer reduced motion, with non-essential animation respecting that preference.
• A responsive layout that adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels.

The site is reviewed periodically, and accessibility is considered when we add or change content.

The site is designed to work with current versions of mainstream browsers (such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge) on desktop and mobile, together with common assistive technologies including screen readers and screen-magnification tools.

Accessibility depends in part on the technology you use. If your browser or assistive software is out of date, some features may not behave as intended; updating to a current version usually helps.

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas we are aware of and working on include:
